WE SAVED YOU A SEAT – Virtual Read Aloud and Draw Along with Angela H Dale and Lala Watkins

Join us for a special school visit with Angela H Dale and Lala Watkins, author-illustrator team behind BUS STOP.  Students will hear a live reading and participate in a draw along with Lala.  This interactive visit will stream over youtube live and is free for your class.  Classes can post questions and comments in the chat and share their drawings with Angela and Lala on social media with the hashtag #busstop2022

Angela H. Dale writes poetry and picture books for children, former children and children-at-heart. Bus Stop is her debut picture book. Her next one, not yet announced, will publish in early 2024. Angela grew up in Pennsylvania, and her bus stop was at the bottom of the best sledding hill in the neighborhood. She now lives in Maryland with her family and Harry the cat.

Lala Watkins is an author-illustrator extraordinaire whose work is like a summer pool party, and everyone’s invited! She makes fun illustrations and lovely stories for kids and kids-at-heart that make her heart (and yours) emote the heart-eyed emoji. Lala graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and Interactive Communication from Ringling College Of Art & Design and has three books this year. Bus Stop is the 2nd she’s illustrated, with more on the way.
